High Vibes only?
If you are following me over on Instagram, you will know that this week’s theme is about High vibes vs Low vibes - and how to navigate vibrational energy and frequency.
Let’s start from the beginning
What is ‘High Vibe’?
High vibe is a high level of vibrational frequency. What does that mean? Think about something you LOVE to do, feel that feeling - that’s high vibe, that’s higher frequency.
I like to talk about High Vibe as EXPANSIVE, it an energy or vibration that lifts you, that connects you more to the the universe, more to your higher self, it’s expansion.
So what’s ‘Low Vibe’?
Low vibe is the opposite end of the scale. Think contraction, restrictive energy, negative, low feeling energy. Imagine a hangover - that’s a low vibe feeling or state of frequency.
OK, back to high vibes
The thing with High Vibes is that they are very unique to you. It’s what feels expansive and right to you. So one person’s high vibe could potentially be another’s low vibe.
Example: You may LOVE going for a run, it’s total high vibes for you. But for someone else running could be associated with pain, discomfort and feelings of anxiety so therefore it’s actually low vibe for that person, maybe they love walking - that’s their high vibe.
How to get from Low Vibe to High Vibe
There’s a few components here but the main one and the most simple is CHOICE.
You chose the higher vibrational path over and over and over again.
It’s essentially a progression of choices in every moment that gets you to high vibes. Choosing the things, people, relationships, work, activities, how you spend your time, food, your language that align to your highest self (highest vibration) over and over.
How?
Two things can help navigate this - Awareness and Intention
Awareness is the willingness to witness yourself fully, no more blind folds, taking ownership for the things that you know are going to raise your vibe or lower it.
Awareness is not only a key component in vibrational energy - it’s also a key component in living the life you want to live.

Not having intention is a bit like expecting to reach your destination with no petrol in the tank. It just ain’t gonna happen.
Who do you intend to be?
What do you intend to feel?
How do you intend to show up in the world?
What is your intention - right now - write it down
Intention is not a goal, it’s the overall impact we want our life to have, be, feel.
You want to be the highest version of yourself, right? So what will help you to move up the vibrational scale to get there?
Intention can be set at the being of your day in meditation, in journaling or even in the shower.
What’s your intention for today? What do you wanna put out to the universe, how do you want to express yourself, what residue would you like to leave behind - kindness, love, generosity?
What can hold you back from connecting to higher vibrations?
Something that I like to call vibrational debris. Vibrational debris is essentially emotional blocks, illness, trauma etc - these do not stop you from raising your vibrational they just need to be healed and navigated compassionately to assist in the raising of your vibe.
Those with vibrational debris need a little helping hand - healing of these elements is deeply important.
Once I am high vibe is that it forever?
Unfortunately not - BUT it get’s easier. The more you chose in every moment the things, feelings, places, people etc that are more aligned to your highest self/highest vibration the easier it gets to move with ease to a higher vibrational level.
As human beings it’s actually pretty much impossible to stay ‘high vibe’ all the time. We all have low vibe states. It’s about finding a better balance - more equilibrium. Less HIGH - LOW - HIGH -LOW and more higher - lower - higher - lower (see the diagram below)
